Simon Marsham is a photographer, originally from East Anglia, U.K. but now based in London, whose work sometimes includes documenting punk shows and scenes around Europe. His first photozine of punk bands - “FIGURATIVE THEATRE #1” - was self-published in 2018 (now sold out) and the second issue is forthcoming.
Working primarily with older 35mm compact cameras to shoot up-close but unintrusively, creating stark and striking images of unnatural contrast and split-second fragments of gestures; his work has been compared to that of Mark Cohen and Derek Ridgers.
