Rob Coons - Photographer

Rob Coons is a photographer based out of San Francisco, California. Despite going to see punk bands since the 80s he did not start taking photos at shows until 2016. His goal through his photography is to capture the excitement, emotion and energy of the bands that he sees in hopes that people looking at his photos can "feel" the passion of the band as if they were at the show. 

 His punk photography has been featured in record releases, zines, art shows, magazines and books. His dream is to tour with a band and document their entire tour through a photography book. Ultimately, he views the camera as an extension of his love of live music. Enjoying the band is always the priority when he goes to see live music. If he gets lucky and captures some good photos along the way, he is always stoked. But he never wants trying to get "the shot" to become the focus of the show.
