“I started getting into photography back in late 2017 after being inspired by a friend who’d been taking pics at shows for a few years. I was interested in giving it a go because of how fun and simple it looked, as well as needing a secondary creative outlet to art and drawing at that time.

I picked up an old point and shoot 35mm film camera from this gallery and darkroom that also sold a bunch of reasonably priced second-hand cameras. A few months later I started taking it out to shows. I started off pretty nervous and hesitant to take photos of bands. But the more shows I attended and the more photos I took, the more I got used to it. And before I knew it I was hooked and going to as many shows as I could every week, chewing through rolls of film trying my best to document as many bands as I could.”
